Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time, often 1-5 minutes. It is great to relieve stress as it gives you a chance to be fully present in your body. Yin Yoga  targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. Because Yin Yoga  is slower and more meditative it teaches how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts to develop personal awareness.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is based on the idea that there is a life force energy flowing through all of us. Sometimes the flow of energy can get blocked or become low, which can lead to emotional or physical disturbances. When the life force energy is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki is performed by a practitioner placing their hands above or on the body, allowing the Reiki energy to flow from their hands to wherever it is needed for the person's own highest good. Reiki can be done without any physical touch, making it a great option for those recovering from physical trauma.
